Andrew and Lydia will be running their first half marathon on June 6, joined by Lydia's father Dan (a seasoned runner). Together they will raise $1200 for the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation (CAASE). CAASE addresses the culture, institutions, and individuals that perpetrate, profit from, or support sexual exploitation. Their work includes prevention, policy reform, community engagement, and legal services.
Lydia is a 2L at Chicago-Kent College of Law. She is a legal intern at CAASE. She is passionate about fighting sexual exploitation, especially sex trafficking, through the law.
Andrew is also a 2L at Chicago-Kent. He is a legal intern at Illinois Legal Aid Online and CARPLS (Coordinated Advice & Referral Program for Legal Services). Andrew is passionate about using technology to increase access to justice.
Dan is Head of Preclinical Development at Prothena Biosciences in San Francisco, California. He has been a toxicologist and part of the pharmaceutical industry for over twenty years.
