SCP Relocation Fund

The City of Shoreline is seeing incredible growth, particularly among families with school age children.  Due to capacity issues with the Shoreline School District, Shoreline Cooperative Preschool is no longer able to rent preschool space from the District.  We are excited to announce that after a two year long search we have found a wonderful and welcoming home for our preschool with Shoreline Free Methodist Church located on NE 175th St.

Our new space offers over 1,000 square feet indoors and access to a great outdoor space as well.   We are currently working to bring the classroom up to code as required by the city of Shoreline so that we can offer classes here in the Fall.  This requires some significant structural changes to the building.  Many people and organizations are contributing to this effort with actions and time, and we are asking you now to be a part of our future.  The goal of this fundraiser is to cover the costs associated with bringing our new, beautiful preschool to life!

Please consider recognizing the hard work of the SCP family in your life by matching their volunteer time dollar for hour. Each SCP family dedicates at least 100 hours of their time during the school year.   

Also please keep in mind that some local employers offer to match charitable donations as a benefit to their employees.  This is a great way to double your impact for our preschool.  Some employers with this benefit include Microsoft, Google, Boeing, Alaska Airlines, Starbucks, Liberty Mutual, Wells Fargo, and more!
