Giving Tuesday 2021

Mama Bubbles came into Simply Cats as a pregnant stray. Just a week into foster she gave birth to seven kittens! Sometimes mamas encounter life-threatening issues after labor. Mama Bubbles had a uterine infection and two retained placentas. Thanks to the Simply Cats Cat Care Staff and her foster, Bubbles received surgery and antibiotics and recovered perfectly. 

This Giving Tuesday, Simply Cats aims to  #FosterKindness and raise funds to offset the costs of fostering kittens and medically fragile cats like Mama Bubbles. Foster cats are some of the most precious, vulnerable, and cost-inducing kitties who come through the doors of Simply Cats. So far this year we have provided quality food, medical care, and foster housing for almost 500 cats. That's in addition to all our other shelter cats! Phew!

We have a lot of love, energy, and volunteers to keep us going as we care for these amazing creatures. But, these things alone do not account for all the care these kitties need. They need food, KMR, scales, thermometers, blankets,  litter, boxes, and toys. All cats and kittens are vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, tested for FeLV/FIV, and spayed/neutered.  Some cats need medical care with bills running into the thousands of dollars. And remember, Simply Cats will never euthanize a cat just because they have medical issues.
