Guinness World Record Charity Initiatives

My name is Luigi Castelli and I have recently broken the Guinness Book of World Record for the longest triathlon (male) within the confines of one of the smallest countries in the world, Singapore! I completed in total 9,555km including 287km in swimming, 7,405km in cycling and 1,863km in running over 166 consecutive days.

One of my purposes to take on the Guinness Worlds Record challenge is to raise awareness for two of the charities that are close to my heart - Bhandara Norgyeling Refugee Camp and NGO “Missione Possibile” to help the most exposed part of the population, the elders and the youth.  

With just USD20, your contribution goes a long way to feed and support 15 Tibetan elders in a refugee camp in India for one day!

To help achieve the fundraising goal of USD10,000, I am giving away my race bike which was used to break the Guinness record to the first donor of more than USD2800.

Bhandara Norgyeling Refugee Camp

Donate to help a community house located in Bhandara (India) which was built in support of elder people, widows and disabled individuals. The whole project has been initially financed through multiple initiatives and funding being the Castelli family one of the founders (my father was an avid enthusiast of Asia in general and Tibet in particular). The main building was initially composed by a single floor with 16 rooms and over time the second floor was also completed providing extra space. This structure was considered at the time the most efficient elder house in the whole India. Over time a small monastery and a Buddhist teaching school has been built to serve the need of the monks and the local community families.
