Hello Family and Friends!

I am writing to you because I have once again been selected to participate in the 2020 Cycle Across Illinois, which benefits the Illinois Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors, IL C.O.P. S.   This is the 16th year of the annual ride to “Honor our Heroes, Remember the Fallen, and Support their Families”.

This year our journey will cover over 370 miles.  It will take place on Thursday, July 16 and end on Sunday, July 19, 2020.  We will ride for 4 days, starting in Alton, and cycling to Springfield, Peoria, Naperville and ending in Woodstock.  This charity ride consists of riders and support individuals who are survivors, law enforcement and supporters of the cause.

I choose to participate in the charity ride because on June 13, 2017, my department at the time had its first ever officer involved shooting.    Officer Miller was shot and able to return to work approximately a year later.

Please feel free to “like” the Facebook page “Cycle Across Illinois” to follow our journey!

Thank you for supporting and donating to IL COPS!
