#GivingTuesday for HomePlate

I've been a fan and advocate for HomePlate for many years, actively involved for the last two. This organization is SO AMAZING and is providing much needed services, resources, and connections for youth experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. 

HomePlate recognizes there are many  barriers to achieving what each individual youth wants and needs. HomePlate supports the positive development of young people experiencing homelessness or housing instability through community building, education, access to services and resources, and youth empowerment. This organization works with the philosophy of "meeting youth where they are" -- something that as librarian,  engager and convener, and passionate community builder, I embrace wholeheartedly and hope you will, too.
