All of us need to eat, but some of us don’t have access to nutritious food. Your support makes a difference in Corvallis and ensures that healthy food gets to those who need it most.
Starker Arts Garden for Education (SAGE), a one-acre production garden in Starker Arts Park, grows fresh vegetables to feed families in Corvallis who could otherwise not afford them. Fresh produce from SAGE is delivered year-round to local food banks and soup kitchens in Corvallis, feeding thousands of people in our area. Stone Soup Kitchen, serving a hot meal 365 days a year in Corvallis, receives 90% of its fresh produce from SAGE Garden. SAGE is also a teaching garden. Each year 2,000 people visit SAGE and learn how to plant, tend, and harvest their own food.
This spring, SAGE needs you.
With your generous donation we can grow 3 tons of vegetables to feed families in our community this year, and teach even more people how to grow food for themselves. Spring for SAGE this month and help us plant an awesome garden. Together we can make local, fresh and healthy food available to all.
