Starts Right Here Movement Fundraiser

What if we all gave together? We can!  Starting on September 21 , our community will come together to support the amazing work of Starts Right Here to raise funds for at-risk youth in Des Moines, Iowa.   This cause supports community improvement ideas with grants up to $100K. 

 
Starts Right Here is a 501c3 nonprofit organization in Des Moines that is guiding lost kids towards a future of hope and growth. We believe we can give struggling youth an opportunity to envision a different life for themselves by giving them access to caring adults, a safe environment and support that builds on their strengths.

Founder and rapper, Will Holmes (Will Keeps) suffered abuse as a child; joined the Blackstone gang in Chicago; witnessed his friend;s murder; was badly beaten and left for dead. Grateful that he survived, Will began his journey to save others' lives.
Building and furnishing a safe place has been started.  

Please help us finish this work to give kids both emotional and physical safety outside of school hours and on week-ends. This facility will support educational achievement, establish healthy habits, establish rapport with law enforcement, promote music and physical fitness.  You can help change lives.
