Almost Starved To Death

This is a case that will break your heart. Poor Terry, Ryan and Bernie were nearly starved to death when they were confiscated by animal control. No food or water in sight, they were all barely hanging on to life. Their bodies and stomachs hurt every minute of every day. No idea when they would get fed again, Terry, Ryan and Bernie tried to stay strong in hopes that their lives would be saved. After animal control was able to get the dogs to safety at a rural VA shelter, they had to stay there for weeks while their owner was charged with animal cruelty. Their awful lives have not gotten them down though. Terry is so sweet even though so emaciated. Bernie loves kissing any face he can get near and Ryan is just as every old lab should be, loving trusting and sweet despite his horrible treatment. These dogs deserve the best in life and Homeward Trails would be honored to have a part in their recovery. Please sponsor these three.
