Riley Stephenson - Support Festival Fun in 20-21!

Many of you know my love of the Azalea Festival runs deep...I have served on the North Carolina Azalea Festival committees since 2018- serving as the Co-Chair of the Parade. 

The Azalea Festival Future Festival Fund was created as part of a strategic vision to ensure the Azalea Festival has continued support into its future. 2020, though a challenging year for most, hit the events industry especially hard - our whole industry model is in bringing large groups of people together.

By supporting this campaign, your dollars will help ensure Festival events continue into the future. North Carolina Azalea Festival events have a regional economic stimulus impact of over $50,000,000 annually; our community relies on Festival events to generate revenue for our small businesses, restaurants, hotels, etc.

My favorite event is the parade (for obvious reasons); a FUN event that highlights our local city and county officials, highlights our festival guests, and allows all of Wilmington and our surrounding communities an opportunity to be a part of the Festival. Help me bring back this event (and all our others) safely in 20-21 and beyond!
