Lance is a tan, white-chested Shar Pei mix with a very wrinkly face and large, contagious smile. He is only 1 years old. We do not know much about his past, but this handsome and seemingly sweet boy is currently at a rural Virginia shelter. These shelters often have low resources, low foot traffic, and lower adoption rates – putting dogs like Lance’s at high risk.
