How YOU Can Make An Impact! Donate to help us raise $1,000 per school for 70 school projects in AZ!

The reality in Arizona, and across the Nation, is that a disproportionate number of children do not have access to resources they need. Oftentimes, a child’s only resource is their school, where they connect to education, structure, food/nutrition, clothing, transportation, belonging and adult/mentor support.

Because there is a school in EVERY neighborhood, targeted school support can impact outcomes for children in every neighborhood of Arizona!

Using the School Connect CAFE Model we can fund school projects that make a direct impact on the lives of kids. 

1. Each school determines what key goals or needs will create the biggest impact on their students, families, and teachers. 

2. Then each school invites their community to plan, share resources, and galvanize volunteer support. 

3. Finally the village, or community team, successfully plans school projects to meet these strategic goals! 

Together we begin to change key metrics, like teacher retention, student attendance and participation, parent engagement, student belonging and positive behavior, and ultimately academic achievement!

School Connect began its mission to connect the 2,485 K-12 schools in Arizona to their communities so that every child has a village to help them reach their potential with the help of community! We started by serving 6 schools and are now serving in 700 all over Arizona!  We are building momentum and are steadfast in reaching our goal of 800 schools by next Summer.  Why? Arizona is uniquely positioned to change the trajectory for every child by strategically leveraging the assets already embedded in our communities.  

Public, private, faith-based, and nonprofit organizations operate in an ecosystem where schools are at the epicenter. By working together, we can build a brighter future! School Connect has had the honor of impacting the lives of 1 Million students since opening- Where do you envision yourself in the village?

In 2020 we:

• Furnished Title 1 schools across Arizona with laptops to address head on the digital divide in rural and lower income districts to mitigate for projected learning losses due to the pandemic.
• Supported school staff and families with $500,000 in PPE, critically needed household, and food items to address food insecurity.
• Collaborated with local farmers to get fresh foods in the homes of families and prevent food waste- a Win/Win!

Above all, every dollar and in-kind donation made through School Connect was magnified four-fold to reach the farthest corners of our state.  Because of your generosity, School Connect has been able to impact thousands of children in Arizona!
