Little Miss Elite Academic Pageant 2019

Family and Friends,

As many of you know, I participated in the Miss Black and Gold Pageant last year. Participating in a pageant took me outside of my comfort zone. I built strong relationships, learned my strengths, and boosted my confidence. This year I have the opportunity to be a pageant mom and help my pageant daughter grow as well. 

Elite 23 International, Incorporated is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on women empowerment and mentorship for young girls. Every year Elite hosts its annual Little Miss Elite Academic Pageant. The Little Miss Elite academic pageant is an event aimed at building self-esteem, recognizing inner beauty, and congratulating young girls for their academic achievements. During the showcase, participants are not allowed to wear any makeup or get judged on outer beauty. Instead, they are scored on creativity, growth, and community involvement. This year we want Little Miss Elite to be bigger and better than ever! You can support our organization and these girls by making a donation. No amount is too small. To give you a better sense of where the money is going, here are some of the most popular giving levels: 

• $23 provides one program kit for a participant
• $50 provides one pageant dress for a participant
• $150 provides one dress, opening ceremony uniform and program shirt for one participant.
• $300 provides one big city exposure weekend experience for one girl. 

Each member has to raise $123 to offset the cost of the pageant. If you feel inclined to support this organization I would truly appreciate it.
