The US spends more per capita on health care and has the lowest life expectancy, the greatest burden disease, and the worst maternal and infant outcomes of any developed country. 

As an OBGYN, I saw firsthand the challenges many of my patients experienced with respect to cost and access to care. I firmly believe that everyone has a right to health care from birth until death and that this right should not be infringed upon by age, race, gender, employment status, income, state of residence, or any other arbitrary demographic factor. Necessary care should also not be delayed or denied by frustrating, time consuming, unjustified pre-authorization policies. Obtaining high quality care should be easy, not hard. TAI's goal is to make this a reality for us all.
