"She's like a new cat! Her whole demeanor is completely transformed."

10-year-old Charli is living with diabetes, which requires glucose monitoring and insulin injections. Normally, that means pricking her ear with a needle twice a day to check her blood sugar, which is a difficult and unpleasant process for a cat who doesn't understand what's happening. Charli is a very sweet and outgoing cat, but had become fearful of her caretakers because she hated having her sensitive ears pricked.

Recently, Charli was fitted with a continuous glucose monitor, which stays attached to her skin and shows her levels in real time without daily needle sticks. She's noticeably happier, more sociable, and more comfortable since getting her monitor. We're hoping to raise enough money to cover the costs of a year's worth of replacements so that Charli can keep her monitor all year and stay as happy and healthy as possible!
