Sweet Hound Found Wandering the Streets Alone

Sweet hound Fred was found alone, wandering in the dark in rural VA.  Was he a hunting dog that escaped, or got lost?  Did someone drive him out on a rural deserted road and drop him off?  We will never have the answers as to what happened to this loving boy, but we really want to him get out of the rural VA shelter he is in.  Fred is a chill guy and loves people and dogs.  He would make a wonderful pet for someone, but we can't find him a new home until he makes his way to Homeward Trails.
