Oakley Is Losing Everything She Knows

Oakley is a beautiful 5 year old Elkhound from southern Virginia whose whole world is suddenly falling apart. Her owner is being evicted, and with nowhere for Oakley to go, they were terrified of what would happen to the dog they love. A rescue contact stepped in to keep Oakley safe for now, but this is only temporary, and she desperately needs Homeward Trails to be her lifeline. Oakley doesn’t understand why her life has changed or why the home and person she counted on may soon be gone. She did nothing wrong. She is simply an innocent dog caught in a heartbreaking situation, facing an uncertain future through no fault of her own. Homeward Trails wants to bring Oakley to safety and give her the chance to find a family who will love her for the rest of her life, but we need donations and sponsors to make that possible.
