Locked inside a burning house, on purpose!!

This is an extremely sad story and poor Patches has suffered a great deal. Patches is a 6-month-old dog who has had an unthinkable past in her short life living in Puerto Rico. We're not even sure how she is still alive. 

Sadly, her previous owner had mental health issues.  One day, a bout two months ago, he decided to burn down his house with Patches still inside the house. :(  The man's family took him to get help but they left Patches behind!!

Patches was found in the burnt remains of the house in horrible condition. Luckily a rescue in Puerto Rico took her under their care and she's been living with a foster ever since. Understandably, she was extremely wary of people at first, but has made leaps and bounds over time with her foster. She is extremely friendly and especially loves children! We plan on flying her here to Virginia where she can find her forever home but need your help to make sure that happens!

This is Patches now after a lot of care, and now she needs to find her forever home!! Can you please help make that happen?
