Shelby is an absolutely adorable white (with some gray/black markings) Pointer mix with a big smile and nubbed tail. This seemingly sweet, 3-year-old girl was rescued from an awful hoarding case – along with 10 other dogs – in southwest Virginia, where she suffered unimaginable horrors. She was found extremely emaciated abandoned in a building that was over 100 degrees inside and had no food or water. Despite the severe neglect Shelby has endured, she is still curious, loving, and good-natured. However, her best shot is at Homeward Trails, where she can continue to receive the proper care and TLC to nurse her completely back to health and give her her best shot at finding the loving forever home she deserves.
