SWE GetSET 2024 Fundraising Campaign

Get Science, Engineering, and Technology (GetSET) celebrates 30 years of opportunities for high school aged young women in the south Bay Area from underserved backgrounds to a four-year annual experience with engineering and technology workshops and events each summer. Held at a local college campus, this week-long residential program, organized by the Society of Women Engineers Santa Clara Valley section since 1992, has inspired thousands of young women to pursue careers in STEM and earn college degrees. Your donation can help spark a girl’s interest in STEM fields and provide an opportunity to interact with working professional mentors and like-minded students.

Funding from high-tech corporations, foundations and individual donations allow us to offer this program at no cost to students. The actual cost to deliver this program is approximately $700 per student. Similar residential STEM camps cost thousands of dollars. We keep costs low through our huge volunteer corp of professional women in STEM.
