As spring approaches, it only means that the communal section at SW Gardens will soon reopen, and we need your support to make our annual spring kickoff a success!
On April 27 from 10am-1pm, volunteers of all ages and abilities will gather in SW Community Gardens (1098 Delaware Ave SW) to help us prepare the communal section for the growing season. Volunteers help us plant, weed, and repaint signage of all of our communal spaces that include 10 beds, 2 food fences, sunflower alley, fruit trees, pollinator gardens, and herb beds. There is something for everyone at this event!
To make this event possible, we need ~ $1,000 to cover costs for soil, seeds & seedlings, and food for volunteers.
