DID YOU KNOW: only 1.8% of philanthropic dollars go to Black-led organizations?

August is Black Philanthropy Month, a global celebration and concerted campaign designed to elevate African-descent giving and funding equity.

Launched in 2011 by Dr. Jackie Bouvier Copeland, Black Philanthropy Month is a time to honor, celebrate, and support Black-led organizations and Black individuals driving economic and social change in our communities.

This month, in celebration of Black Philanthropy Month and Black Giving Day (8/28), join a community of everyday philanthropists to help us achieve our goal of $8,280 to improve the quality of life for women and girls of color living in the Washington, DC region.

Your generous gift will help ensure equal access to resources that will help them attain economic security and thrive.

No amount is too small. Will you stand with us?
