Help Furnish Hope with Me!

This Give STL Day, I’m raising funds for Home Sweet Home, a nonprofit furniture bank that helps families in St. Louis who are moving out of homelessness or crisis situations.

When families finally secure housing, many are starting from scratch with no furniture—not even a bed to sleep on. Home Sweet Home steps in to provide the furniture and household essentials that turn empty apartments into real homes.

What makes this organization so special is that families don’t just receive donated items—they get to choose the things they want, personalizing their space and making it their own. From couches to cookware, decor to kitchen tables, Home Sweet Home helps create homes that reflect each family’s needs and style.

I love this organization because they don’t just give out furniture—they bring comfort, dignity, and a fresh start. Every dollar we raise helps another family rest easier, gather around a table, and begin again with hope.
