Furniture Friends is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides donated furniture to people in need throughout Greater Portland Maine helping hundreds of families every year.
I'm proud to support an organization that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of low income families in my community.
No one should have to worry about whether or not they have a roof over their head or a safe place for their family to live. No one should have to sleep on the floor night after night, but far too many people do.
So I'm willing to try it for one night -- Saturday, Oct. 3 -- to help raise money for Furniture Friends. I hope you're inspired to lend your support too! Your generosity is a simple act that I can assure you will have a big impact.
