Our 2nd annual golf tournament in honor of our dad to raise money to keep allowing our organization to continue spreading awareness for mental health resources and financial assistance.

Troy Curtis Johnson, age 49 of Hudson, a man of few words with a heart of gold passed away in a bad moment June 10, 2017 in Frederic, WI.  He was greeted with love at heaven’s gate by Grandparents Evert and Esther Bergstrom, Ben and Helen Johnson, uncles, Arnold and Gordy Johnson, Bruce Bergstrom, and cousin, Greg Rasmussen.

Troy graduated from Hudson High School, the Class of 1986 and completed his degree at the University of Minnesota.  Troy married his high school sweet heart, Jennifer Bond and was blessed with three children, Benjamin, Anna, and Connor.  Troy worked as a superintendent of the Hudson Golf Course for many years.  He then took the position as Coordinator of Facility and Site Operations and Grounds for the Stillwater School District, and worked there until recent.

Outside of his work, Troy enjoyed the peacefulness of the outdoors. He looked forward to planning weekly “field trips” to concerts, wineries, parks, and getaways to the North Shore. At home his passions included grilling, smoking his famous pork, mowing, gardening, and bonfires.

He was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, coach, and friend to many. He could always be found at the rink, ball field, or track cheering his kids on. His children meant the world to him.

Troy will remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Jennifer; children, Benjamin, Anna, and Connor; his parents, Curtis and Gloria Johnson; brother, Trevor; Jennifer’s parents, Joan and George Bond; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and Sue Bond, Sue Warner; as well as nieces and nephews.  Along with aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, community members and so many more people than he could ever have realized.

There is no room for whys or regret, he would want us to move forward, and continue to live life to the fullest.
