Put People First! PA is fighting to make healthcare a human right.

We have to rely on grassroots fundraising to ensure our political independence. We are not beholden to either Republican or Democratic party, nor their big grant foundations. Only everyday working people like you and me are going to fund a movement to fundamentally transform our society in the interest of human needs rather than profit. 

Please donate and any amount helps. We are staff free, and no member of Put People First! PA is paid for the hours and energy we pour into this work. All the money donated will go to the costs of organizing. 

Some of the things we have accomplished in 2024:

• Fighting hospital closures and private equity 

• Held a forum for a Public Healthcare Advocate

• Our bill, HB 1417 to restore the adult dental benefit in Medicaid passed the House! 

• Sent hundreds of our stories into legislators!

• Conducted political education in Healthcare Rights Committees

• Consistently called out the war economy and linked it to the denial of healthcare and other basic needs

• Building working class internationalism

• Published organizing handbooks
