Life-Threatening Bladder Blockage!

Just last night, Taki's foster found him in distress! He was bleeding, laying in the litter box shaking, and crying in pain. He was rushed to the emergency vet where it was determined that his bladder was blocked from emptying due to a crystal in his urethra - something that is fatal if not treated immediately. The emergency vet was able to put in a catheter to empty the bladder and now he must remain hospitalized while his urinary tract clears the remaining crystals so he doesn't end up blocked again. The catheter must stay in for the next 24-48 hours which means he needs expensive round-the-clock care and pain management. Right now, we're optimistic he'll make a full recovery. Please help us to continue to afford his medical care and to continue to get that kind of care for animals in need.
