Too small to survive on his own

This sweet thing is Talladega. He was found wandering the side of the road. At only 2 years old, Tal has spent most of his life being terrified. To be so small and so defenseless in the face of harsh weather, predators and starvation - it's truly a miracle he's lasted as long as he has. Luckily a good person found him and brought him to a shelter, and when we at Homeward Trails discovered him and knew in an instant we needed to get him to us as soon as possible and make sure he knows that the world isn't always as bleak and cruel as he's known so far. Talladega deserves his best chance at happiness, and with a little help we can give him that - with his forever home.
