Dear Friend,
As an intern for the Uganda Village Project, I am raising money to support my position. Through this team, I will have the unique opportunity to work on an international project immersed in the rural community I will be contributing to.
This program allows for mutual learning between the Ugandan and US intern team. I hope to walk away from this once in a lifetime experience with a better understanding of the kind of medical professional I'd like to be through rural engagement, international collaboration, and self-reflection. I also know I will come away from this learning things I can't yet comprehend. Similarly, I will be a small part of something much larger than me, the Ugandan community that allows for me to grow with them!
