Beverly Calender- Anderson- Thrive by 5 Giving Day

Early childhood education helps to lay the foundation for all that is to come in the future.  As our world becomes more global by the day, U.S. children being born today will be competing for college entrance and employment opportunities with people from all over the world. The ability to process information, think creatively, and problem-solve has never been more important to instill in our young people. When children are young they absorb information like sponges. The years between 0 and 5, I believe, is the time to make the greatest impression on children. Teaching the value of life-long learning, developing good social skills, instilling the importance of teamwork and building confidence and self-esteem will help children today prepare for a successful future.

About the Thrive by  Five Campaign:
Funding will be used to increase access to high-quality education for at-risk children and low-income families, improve quality of programs, cultivate family engagement and community partnerships, develop training opportunities for educators, and provide required community matching funds for On My Way Pre-K students.
