Debby Herbenick - Thrive by 5 Giving Day

I’ve always had a passion for working with and supporting children. Growing up, I volunteered in church nurseries and, as a hospital volunteer, loved being assigned to the pediatric floor where I could help kids through difficult times. In college, I worked in preschools and kindergartens, supporting children as they gained reading, writing, and social skills. As a parent, I care deeply about my own children and the well-being of their peers. Children are our best hope for the future. Investing in early childhood programs is critical to who we are at our core as a community today and who we have the potential to become as a community twenty years from now. 

About the Thrive by  Five Campaign:
Funding will be used to increase access to high-quality education for at-risk children and low-income families, improve quality of programs, cultivate family engagement and community partnerships, develop training opportunities for educators, and provide required community matching funds for On My Way Pre-K students.
