Early education is vitally important to the health and well-being of our children. Too many people have difficulty affording high-quality childcare and education. Studies have shown that every $1 spent on high-quality early childhood programs can yield a $4-$9 return on investment. What this doesn’t capture, however, is the improvement in quality of life for families that benefit from these programs. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that the children of our community have every opportunity possible to experience a quality educational foundation.
About the Thrive by Five Campaign:
Funding will be used to increase access to high-quality education for at-risk children and low-income families, improve quality of programs, cultivate family engagement and community partnerships, develop training opportunities for educators, and provide required community matching funds for On My Way Pre-K students.
