As an at-large member of the Bloomington City Council, I clearly see the connection between providing support for working families and giving children a good head start and solving some of our more challenging community problems. We need to do all we can to help families afford quality early childhood learning experiences and to support the caregivers and teachers who do this critically important work. I see this initiative as a smart investment in our future, and I welcome all to give what you can to Thrive by Five.
About the Thrive by Five Campaign:
Funding will be used to increase access to high-quality education for at-risk children and low-income families, improve quality of programs, cultivate family engagement and community partnerships, develop training opportunities for educators, and provide required community matching funds for On My Way Pre-K students.
