The 2018 Thrive By Five Campaign struck a compassionate part of my heart.  As a longtime educator of Literacy and a new grandmother, I knew the importance of early intervention with emergent learners.  My teaching experience as a trained Reading Recovery Teacher prepared me for raising my two daughters as well as  countless elementary through high school children in Monroe County.  I have seen first hand how early intervention is the key for preparing young minds for success in school as well as life. Supporting the 2019 Thrive By Five Campaign will enrich our community as well as the lives of young learners and their families.
About the Thrive by  Five Campaign:
Funding will be used to increase access to high-quality education for at-risk children and low-income families, improve quality of programs, cultivate family engagement and community partnerships, develop training opportunities for educators, and provide required community matching funds for On My Way Pre-K students.
