Tina Peterson - Thrive by 5 Giving Day

This week I get to wear a cape!  

I’m joining 42 pretty awesome people – superheroes –to raise funds for early learning in Monroe County!  And while I’m pretty excited about being part of the team and wearing the cape, what’s truly inspiring to me is the way this community embraces our youngest learners!  The money raised through the Thrive by Five Campaign will help Monroe County children have opportunities for high-quality early learning experiences!  This means more children in our community will be better prepared for kindergarten, more likely to read by 3rdgrade, to graduate from HS, to vote, to earn more money, and to raise children who will succeed in life too!  

I’m supporting Thrive by Five because it’s the right thing to do for children, for families, and for the community.  I hope you’ll join me.  You won’t get a cape, but you will still feel like you can leap tall buildings because you’ll be changing the future for a child and their family, too!
