Teresa Wiles-Vance
Transplant Type: Bone Marrow Transplant
Teresa Wiles-Vance is awaiting a new lease on life. In December 2019, she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare blood cancer. Receiving a cancer diagnosis was difficult for Teresa and her family, but they are ready to face the situation. Doctors now say a bone marrow transplant is critical to her survival.
During this difficult time, Teresa is grateful for the love and support of her husband, Paul, and their family and friends. Teresa looks forward to recovering fully from her transplant, reopening her business, traveling and spending more time with her family and friends. She’s ready to feel like herself again and be able to resume a more active life. But right now, she needs your help.
Unfortunately, Teresa’s hope for a new life comes at a very high price. The average autologous stem cell transplant costs approximately $470,000, and that’s only the beginning. Even with insurance, which will cover most of the transplant costs, Teresa still faces significant expenses related to the procedure. Teresa had to stop working due to her illness and transplant, adding to the financial strain.
You can help by making a tax-deductible donation to NFT in honor of Teresa. If you'd prefer to send your gift by mail, please send it to the NFT Georgia Transplant Fund, 3249 W. Sarazens Circle, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38125. Please be sure to write "in honor of Teresa Wiles-Vance” in the memo line.
Thank you for your generosity!
