Covered in Blood

Terry had just been rescued from a shelter. It was supposed to be a day filled with hope and happiness. But when the Homeward Trails team went to get Terry out of his carrier, he was covered in blood. 

He had been recently neutered. At some point during his transport, we suspect that a hematoma burst leaving him bleeding and in pain. He had lost so much blood. Too much blood. We needed to get him into surgery immediately.

The emergency vets jumped into action, but none of us were sure he would pull through. 

Gratefully, we were able to rescue Terry from the brink of death and repair the damage. He is now recovering from this harrowing, traumatic experience at our Adoption Center.

We are thankful to the vet team for their excellent care, but it comes at a steep price. Can you help us cover the cost of Terry's surgery and recovery?
