Teen Girls Empowerment Inc™⠀

Teen Girls Empowerment Inc™ is a Metro Atlanta based 501c3 non-profit organization designed to Motivate, Inspire, and EMPOWER,  teen girls from the ages of 13 -19 by arming them with tools to overcome many of the issues that emotionally affect today's teen girl.  

According to statistics, 75% of girls with low self-esteem reported engaging in harmful activities like cutting, bullying, smoking, drinking, or disordered eating. These statistics are comparable to 25% of girls with high self-esteem (Source: PRNewswire.com).

71% of girls with low self-esteem feel their appearance does not measure up, including not feeling pretty enough, thin enough, or trendy enough.  This statistic is comparable to 29% of girls with high self-esteem. 

7 in 10 girls believe that they are not good enough or don’t measure up in some way, including their looks, performance in school, and relationships with friends and family members (Source: Real Girls, Real Pressure: A National Report on the State of Self-Esteem, 2008).

Our goal is to Teach, Guide & EMPOWER, giving teen girls healthy respect for their self-esteem and self-image through body awareness, mental, physical health, and wellness.  We do this through workshops and seminars that give them tools that help build their confidence, develop their unique identity, and become their very best S.E.L.F.
