Greetings from the Capstone Class of 2021 for the Theater Arts program at Arcadia University. At this moment of significant need and challenge in the arts, we will be working all semester long to raise money to support two not-for-profit organizations who are doing vital work to serve Philadelphia’s theater community.

  1. Theatre Philadelphia Emergency Relief Fund: this fund awards micro-grants to individuals who live in the Philadelphia region, work in theatre, and whose theatre income has been impacted by COVID-19.
  2. Philadelphia Young Playwrights: Since 1987, Philadelphia Young Playwrights has partnered with educators to bring the transformative power of playwriting into classrooms and community settings across Greater Philadelphia. Placing students at the center of their learning, PYP's intensive writing residencies advance writing-based literacy skills while developing critical 21st century skills like creativity, communication, and collaboration.

All the donations we receive will be divided to help these two groups keep theater alive in Philadelphia. Please help us by donating to our campaign and spreading the word to others. Thank you for your support!
