🐶 Utah Pet Partners /Therapy Animals of Utah is deeply grateful for both the small and large donations made to us every year. Your ongoing support has allowed us to improve & expand our services, reaching many more people than we have in in the past. Please continue this trend by donating to our end of the year appeal today.  And remember,  no matter the amount, your donation makes a difference.

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”

Our animal assisted therapy involves animals as a form of treatment; as a planned inclusion of an animal in a client’s treatment plan.  These services are delivered and/or directed by a Therapy Animals of Utah  volunteer, a trained and certified animal handler with demonstrated skills and expertise regarding the clinical applications of human-animal interaction.

"Help others without any reason and give without the expectation of receiving anything in return."

Therapy Animals of Utah provides free therapy animal services to more than 60,000 men, women and children annually. Those receiving our services include children and adults of all ages, people with disabilities, individuals with illness, as well as the disadvantaged, abused, and at-risk. Our services are provided in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, schools, libraries, residential treatment facilities, assisted living centers, courts, and more.

Animals can provide a sense of calm, comfort, or safety and divert attention away from a stressful situation and toward one that provides pleasure. Advocates of animal-assisted therapy say that developing a bond with an animal can help people develop a better sense of self-worth and trust, stabilize their emotions, and improve their communication, self-regulation, and socialization skills.

And finally, please give! Our work depends on your support!
