Tiny Mateo is Too Small to Be Living in a Shelter

Tiny Mateo barely had time to live in his family's home and was already surrendered by his owner.  At only 12 weeks old, Mateo is far too young to be living in a rural VA shelter. The shelter is not safe for a puppy of this age. Sicknesses and diseases are very contagious, and a puppy's immature immune system might not be able to fight off a fatal sickness. Mateo is waiting patiently for someone to adopt him but somehow keeps getting overlooked by potential owners!
