Tiny Tulip Was Abandoned at 8 Weeks Old

Can you imagine this sweet baby being abandoned all alone in Puerto Rico? Tiny Tulip is just a mere 8 weeks old and was found wandering all by herself on an abandoned property. We don't know how long she was out there with no food, water or shelter, but we do know that she is very lucky to be alive. She was likely so scared and confused, wondering where her family was and starving with only scraps of old garbage to eat to survive. Her little cries went unanswered as she just curled up cold and lonely as days and nights went by with no one coming to save her. Tulip's life was suddenly spared when a rescue found her just in the nick of time. Who knows how much longer she would have survived out there. She is now safe with a rescue, but our PR rescue partner has very low adoption rates and they do not want little Tulip to spend her life growing up in a cage. Like any puppy, she needs socialization and stability - basically a family to show her that life can be wonderful! Tulip has an opportunity to catch a flight to Homeward Trails, but we need to cover the cost of her airfare to bring her up.
