Little Titi - Hit by a Car and Left for Dead

This sweet girl was seen hit by a car earlier today (1/24). The car didn't stop. Titi could not move. A kind passerby saw it and grabbed her from the road before another car ran her over  - a common site in Puerto Rico. He then contacted one of our volunteers who requested permission to take her to the vet to have her euthanized as it seemed she was gravely injured. THANKFULLY he got her there quickly and the vet stated she could be saved - that she was in shock. Xrays showed that her back was not broken - a miracle - but her hip was. Pain meds were given and she is now headed to a temporary foster to rest up. She must recover some before she can fly over. And she needs follow up medical care. Our fingers are crossed that she can heal with rest and not require surgery. Help us get cover her immediate care and the follow up. Only with donations can we act on these urgent needs. Otherwise, dogs like Titi would remain on the road or in a ditch where they drag themselves to slowly die.
