Christina's Fundraiser for NEMS

During the month of May, North East Medical Services (NEMS) is participating in Give In May, a national campaign to support organizations serving the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Funds raised will support NEMS COVID-19 response efforts and commemorate 50 years of service to the community.

NEMS is one of the largest community health centers in the United States targeting the medically underserved Asian population. As a NEMS team member, I take great pride in being able to serve our vulnerable patients and community every day!

As soon as COVID-19 vaccines became available, NEMS has been working diligently to get access to vaccines and to get them into the arms of our patients. We currently provide COVID-19 vaccination at ten clinics and are ramping up efforts to provide community vaccination events and to expand access to vulnerable populations in the near future.
