Even when weâre not in the GIVING TUESDAY campaign mode, The Smooth Jazz Ride continues year âround in its efforts to raise money for our fine cause. Of course, we will be very present during GIVING TUESDAY, but please consider us and support this cause 365 days a year! Anything you offer will be greatly appreciatedâand we wish to greatly thank everyone whoâs already given!Â
The Smooth Jazz Ride, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Contemporary Jazz website, is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the genre by offering free CD and concert reviews, a calendar of live events, and more.Â
We have recently decided to further our efforts by holding fundraisers where we will target underfunded music schools to receive proceeds from  quality jazz shows with national artists. The proceeds may be used by the schools to purchase instruments, literature, etc.Â
Considering that we would like this to be an annual project with top artists, we are seeking funding  to cover artistsâ fees, lodging, backup musicians, lighting and sound equipment as necessary.Â
