As Athens begins to make plans to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends, the Athens Community Council on Aging and the Campus Kitchen at UGA want to ensure that no senior in our community is left out of this holiday tradition.
We are asking the community for donations to be used to purchase uncooked turkeys that will provide more than 900 Thanksgiving meals to seniors, but will also fund senior hunger initiatives for the entire year!
With your generous support, we can provide older adults an opportunity to
gather around the table with their families for a day of thanks.
