Elroy and Ellie May are floppy-eared, brown and black hound mix pups from rural Virginia. These 4-month-old cuties were surrendered by their owner due to no fault of their own – and are barely old enough to have gotten all of the proper puppy vaccines. Rural Virginia shelters are often loud, crowded, and low resource, putting young puppies like these two at higher risk for injury, illness, more intense stress, and sometimes even death.
