Across Romania, thousands of children are growing up in foster or adoptive families after surviving early trauma—neglect, abandonment, abuse, or years spent in state care. At Tzuby’s Kids, we believe every child deserves a chance to heal.

This year, we’re inviting you to be part of three life-changing projects that support foster and adoptive children and their families across Romania. Your gift will bring healing to children and hope to families.

🏕️ Healing-centered summer experiences and group therapy for foster and adoptive families

These camps aren’t just fun getaways—they’re therapeutic lifelines. Children learn how to self-regulate, trust again, and experience joy in a safe environment, while caregivers receive hands-on training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), a trauma-informed parenting model that transforms how families connect and heal.

🧠 Equipping caregivers, social workers, psychologists, and educators with tools to support vulnerable children

When caregivers understand trauma, they can respond with empathy instead of frustration. Through our trauma-informed training programs, we’re creating a network of adults across Romania who know how to nurture healing in the children they serve—at home, in schools, and within the child protection system.

💛 Awareness & Counselling for Future Adoptive Parents

Over 7,000 children in Romania are waiting for families, but many hesitate to adopt due to a lack of information and support. Our awareness campaigns, information sessions, and individual counselling help future adoptive parents understand the realities of adoption, prepare for trauma-informed parenting, and say “yes” with confidence.
