$100

raised by 6 people

Please support my fundraiser for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Atlanta!

Friends and family, please join me and #StandWithRefugees and the IRC in Atlanta! I’m committed to raising $100 to help the IRC in Atlanta meet their $30,000 goal—please give today, no donation is too small!

I have been working at the IRC this summer as an intern with the Career Development team. Our department assists people with career changes, seeking higher-paying salaries, and working towards the education or certifications they may require to achieve their career goal. This comes in the form of resume & cover letter preparation and conferencing, creating goal plans with refugee clients, and conducting outreach. Furthermore, our department offers several career pathway programs- my amazing co-interns are working on helping people with HVAC certifications and IT certifications, and I am managing a scholarship fund that enables people to attend dental assisting school.

Our refugee clients are the most hardworking and resilient people that I have met, and it is an honor to be able to work in this role at the IRC. In addition to Career Development, the IRC in Atlanta offers refugees assistance with resettlement affairs, education and language classes, early employment, youth programs, health and wellness programs, and entrepreneurial and financial matters.

Please commit to this work alongside us and make a donation to support the IRC in Atlanta and the people we serve.

Thank you for standing with refugees!

Catherine
