Make a Difference Now

💕My Dearest Friends -  

As many of you know, education is a social cause I'm strongly passionate about. For me, this connection is deeply rooted in my own childhood experiences. Education was the only way out of poverty for my family,  it's the reason why I am where I am today. I was lucky to have access to free education but this isn't the case in Tanzania. 

There are so many children in Tanzania that grow up in poverty without a good home, without education, without a family. And because education costs money, close to 70% of students in Tanzania don’t make it past primary school.

Doing a service trip abroad has been on my mind for a while and I’ve finally discovered an incredible organization called Make a Difference (MAD) Now that I'm wholeheartedly aligned with.  MAD’s vision is to send children in Africa (including Tanzania) through primary and secondary school, provide them with books, uniforms and balanced meals. My dream is to help these children have a real shot at formal education. And in order for me to do this, I need you - my wonderful friends.

I’m seeking to raise a minimum of $2,000, the proceeds of which will help pay for orphaned children to go to school in Tanzania. Your donations toward education will be wired from this MAD account directly to the school the children attend near Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Thank you for supporting MAD and my trip to Tanzania. I'm so excited to get to know the children and hopefully at least in a tiny way help them see their future and reach their full potential.

And as Gandhi once said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”. We are all connected as humans and alleviating the pain of others is a privilege.
